Sandwiches for breakfast

Turkey on sourdough with romaine, dijon mustard, mushrooms, and pickled peppers and green beans sauteed with sambal oelek

Sometimes you just want a sandwich, even if it is 8 in the morning. What's wrong with that? Nothing.

This was my breakfast several days ago. Turkey on toasted sourdough with romaine, dijon mustard, mushrooms, and pickled peppers; green beans sauteed with sambal oelek. It was entirely delightful.

seriously, toasted sourdough in the morning is one of the best joys in life.

And something green and spicy alongside? Yes, this is my kind of breakfast!

Bring on the nontraditional breakfast! Looks so good!

Non-trad breakfasts are sometimes the best--I can mow down on tacos for example. I have a feeling a post-thanksgiving sandwich for breakfast is in my future!

I really want to try those green beans - sambal oelek is so good! This year we're not having green beans at Thanksgiving, I opted for a soybean salad, but I might try making these too.
