I adore migas. I don't think they've really taken off in the UK yet (it's pretty hard to get good Mexican food in general). But I bring tortillas back with me from the states to stash in the freezer. Migas are one of my favourite ways to use them!
Migas are indeed delicious! And no, there isn't any rice in them (??). It's pretty much just eggs, spices, veg, and tortillas. Those of you guys who have never had migas go for it! They're super easy and so good.
This is the first I had heard of migas...Now that I've seen it on your post, I'm all about it! I LOVE Mexican food and will definitely try your recipe :)
When I studied in Spain, my host mother said she was making "migas con chocolate" for dinner. I heard "amigas" and thought her friends were coming over to make chocolate. Boy was I confused by the garlicky bread crumbs that we, yes, spooned into chocolate! Yours looks way better.

Yum. Looks delicious. I was craving a breakfast burrito randomly this week. This looks like it would hit the spot!
Migas are always so, so good. They're a total weekend breakfasty staple in our house!

is that rice in migas?
we love migas. I first had them in Austin many years ago... and whenever we are there we get together with friends and make a huge migas breakfast.
we make migas often here, but not lately... I need to change that!
Never had migas! Never even heard of them-how can that be?!
MMMM Migas.
Umm those sound fabulous. Totally going on the menu. ASAP.
