Hungry? Tired? Have I got a deal for you!
Simply cook 1 package fresh tortellini in salted boiling water for six to eight minutes! In the meantime, sauté onions, garlic, or shallots in olive oil. Add chopped bell peppers, jalapeños, and tomatoes, and sprinkle on a touch of basil, oregano, salt, and pepper! Deglaze with dry vermouth! When tortellini are tender, drain and add to the sauce! Throw in a boatload of chopped fresh spinach and stir to wilt!
Voila! Dinner is served!!

I might have something like that for breakfast, except no tortellini. Just curly pasta.
That would also definitely work. The tortellini just makes it more substantial. If I were doing this with regular pasta, I'd probably end up adding some kind of cheese or beans.
Got in himmel. My garden is filled with lettuce that is about to go bad. (The heat is not good for all those delicate leaves.) Halp!
Oh! Um, get some flexible poles and some loosely woven muslin/something and make a shade wall? But high heat will make it bolt pretty quickly anyway. Eat it fast? Plant it in November next year?
